Thai Massage By Malory
Is a meditative practice for both client and practitioner, reflecting the states of loving kindness and compassion. Thai massage has always been taught as a spiritual practice done with prayers and as a meditation. A typical Thai massage is 2 hours covering the body completely. It is a unique and deep massage that transforms the body to a more flexible, relaxed, lighter and a less painful being.

Why Thai Massage?
Through deep muscle stretching, joint release and emphasis on breathing, Thai Massage offers many of the same benefits as yoga. This is a form of bodywork, unlike any other Western or Eastern forms. While it does include work by the practitioner kneading muscles, it is a unique form of stretching. You remain passive while the practitioner does the movements to you.
Thai massage is an ancient Ayurvedic healing art. Using pressure on energy lines, points, and a vast array of passive stretching movements; Malory uses her hands, feet, knees and elbow's. Your body will experience profound relaxation, peripheral stimulation of internal organs, increased flexibility and increased flow of energy. It is performed on a futon on the floor with the client comfortably dressed.
Life and Thai Massage
Life can be stressful, and today it seems that people are on the go 24/7. Our bodies know only two states of being; rest and digest, or as is most common, fight or flight. This has huge effects on our well being and ability to heal, resulting in higher stress levels.
Though most of us feel we have no choice in the matter, relief is available. Studies show one hour of massage is equivalent to 2-3 hours of sleep.
Massage promotes relaxation, immune system function, and relieves pain - not to mention, reduces some of the stress we are all living with.
Thai Massage provides your body with the flexibility of Yoga, inner organ massage, oxygenation of the blood and quieting of the mind.
Although massage therapy is not a cure-all, it is a natural, safe, and effective health aid for everyone.
